Dept. of Business Administration The opportunity for women’s participation in the society and the role of women are becoming increasingly important in the era of informatization and the knowledge society. Keeping pace with such a change of the society, the Dept. of Business Administration provides various educational programs to teach the knowledge necessary for active participation of women in the society and industrial activities. Moreover, we aim to train able female leaders who can contribute to the economic development of the nation and the improvement of quality of life with vision and leadership.

Dept. of Economics The Korean economy is facing a time of drastic restructuring in the rapidly changing environment of world economy after 40 years of economic miracle. It is essential to have systematic understanding of the principle of market economy including macroscopic understanding of the entire economy and the management strategy of individual companies in such a drastic change of the Korean economy. In addition, it is vital in the 21st century to learn systematic and wide economic knowledge necessary for the national competitiveness and the survival of business entities in the international competition becoming increasingly fiercer. Responding to such as demand, we put emphasis on training high-quality manpower equipped with professionalism in the world economy. In addition, considering the increasing economic activity of women in the labor market, we train students to be equipped with systematic economic knowledge to contribute to the advancement, growth and development of the Korean economy in the world economy.

Dept. of International Business Administration The Dept. of International Business Administration offers general and systematic curriculum about the globalization of corporate management including International Business Management Environment, International Business Management Strategy, Management of Global Enterprises, Practice of Trade and Cultural Management. Specifically, we offer various curriculums such as the subjects related to international trade and international finance for the understanding of the environment and structure of the world economy which is the stage of global management; the establishment and execution of international management strategy such as foreign direct investment and strategic alliance; and the management of global enterprises, cultural management and trading works such as international marketing and international financial management for education of the theories and practices of international business management and the international economy.

Dept. of Child Development&Education Dept. of Child Development&Education aims to produce the professionals who will conduct research and activities for the improvement of the quality of children’s life. Children have the right to lead a happy life as important members of the society who will bear the destiny of the nation and the world. The society should provide special support for children to grow properly and acquire the ability to lead the society. In this major, we train professional manpower for the realization of desirable education and a welfare society for children by training students to understand children and the whole environment of children and study children in the context of their development in life based on adjacent disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, pedagogy and sociology.

Dept. of Social Welfare The Dept. of Social Welfare has prepared various macroscopic and microscopic programs for contribution to the life of the members of the family that can function healthily in the welfare society. Students are trained to be professional workers who can plan and operate the social welfare policy and programs of the nation by learning the skills of practicing social welfare such as counseling in various dimensions and lifelong education programs based on the understanding of children, human development and family.

Dept. of Library and Information Sciences The Dept. of Library and Information Sciences studies the theories and technical phenomenon related to the collection, processing, treatment, accumulation, search and use of various kinds of knowledge information necessary in the knowledge-based society. Therefore, we foster information professionals necessary for the information network-based society by educating students on the management and processing of various kinds of information. In addition, we provide students with the specific information skills and knowledge necessary in the rapidly changing knowledge and information society so that they can have the ability of information specialists who can support establishment of the information system. We also offer the service of collection, evaluation and management of the source of knowledge so that the students can work as professional librarians and information specialists at various kinds of libraries.

Dept. of Tax Accounting The Dept. of Tax Accounting was established for the training of professional female manpower related to the environment of companies’ accounting reports and decision of tax affairs that are becoming increasingly more important in the rapidly changing corporate environment in the modern days. In addition, with the aim of fostering the talent appropriate for the times, the best professors are teaching the knowledge of accounting and tax laws essential for business management to foster professional female leaders equipped with a high level of morality by enhancing refinement and professionalism of the people in charge of tax accounting.
