Dept. of Fashion Design As specific ways of practical education, the Dept. of Fashion Design has secured able professors in the field of fashion at the campus located at the Rodeo Fashion Town in Cheongdam-dong and invited famous Korean and foreign designers and professionals for field-centered education in regular classes, workshop, seminar and critique. After graduation, students can be specialists in a vast area including fashion designer, stylist, fashion illustrator, fabric designer, pattern maker, technical designer, fashion coordinator, fashion displayer, fashion director, fashion buyer, merchandiser, fashion journalist and costume critic.

Dept. of Visual & Interior Design The Dept. of Visual & Interior Design aims to train professional female designers who can take an important part in reinforcing the international competitiveness of the nation and companies and improving the quality of life of man by learning professional knowledge and techniques in various areas of visual design and interior design. For such a purpose, the professors of the Dept. of Visual & Interior Design composed of experts in each area are teaching on the base of systematic curriculum with close field education by industry-academy cooperation with related industry for improvement of practical ability, tour of fields related to design, etc.

Dept. of Media Design The area of media design continues to evolve with the fast development of technologies, and the social demand has kept increasing, too. Responding to such a demand, the Dept. of Media Design at Dongduk Women’s University aims to train creative and emotional pioneers in digital media who will take the initiative in leading the times. We intend to foster the talent who will grow continuously as creative experts in media design adapting to any technological changes instead of simple technicians who will only follow instruction after learning specific graphic tools in a short time.
