Dept. of Food & Nutrition The Dept. of Food Nutrition is a professional area guiding the dietary life of people in various dimensions. We provide professional education for training of professional managers of dietary life in all the processes: cultivating professional knowledge necessary in the process of food provision through the course of sitology; applying the knowledge acquired in sitology to actual cooking through the course of culinary arts, and understanding the actual effect of food consumption on human body through the course of dietetics.

Dept. of Health Management The basic direction of the Dept. of Health Sciences is health and medical management, health and medical information and environmental health. The basic subjects and advanced subjects are offered for a wide choice according to the interest of students putting emphasis on conducting education on medical information in the informatization age, understanding the health policy and medical system of Korea, and improving the capabilities for the solution of environmental problems.

Dept. of Cosmetology In this major, we aim to train integrative experts in cosmetics equipped with creative thinking and professional practical ability at the same time. To achieve such a purpose, we provide systematic education combining extensive knowledge from planning of cosmetics, marketing, material analysis, and development and production of cosmetics by adding emotional value to the basic concepts of the disciplines of chemistry, chemical engineering, life science, etc. so that students can develop active and creative thinking ability. In addition, we have established a network for mutual cooperation with domestic and overseas cosmetics companies to activate personal exchange, information interchange, etc. and offer specialized educational environment such as field practice, internship, self-initiated capability reinforcement for students so that they could work immediately at the workplace.

Dept. of Applied Chemistry We aim to train the students to be able to contribute to the development of the science and technology of the nation in the rapidly changing society according to the education goal of the university to foster the experts that can create and explore the future. To achieve such a goal, we educate students to acquire the qualifications for learning and applying by themselves with rationality and judgment inn addition to professional knowledge. At the Dept. of Applied Chemistry, students learn the basic subjects of natural sciences such as mathematics, physics and biology and learn how to use the knowledge of chemistry and its application principle in an extensive area from environment and cosmetics to high molecule and natural materials on the basis of pure chemistry such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physics, analysis and biochemistry. As a result, students can have a comprehensive and wide view and set up their own academic system at the same time.

Dept. of Physical Education Believing that female sports can be developed on the base of wide study of the principles of physical education, we promote systematic physical activity and functional improvement of the intellectual, affective and psychology movement domains of man for the training of able female sports leaders and foster experts in the areas related to physical activity and the application area through scientific research of related basic and application knowledge.

Dept. of Total Beauty Care (night class) In the Professional Total Beauty Care Course which encompasses the Total Beauty Care Department, the Professional Beauty Artist Course and the Beauty Care, we train the manpower that will lead the beauty industry which is one of the future growth industries of the nation. The subjects of the Dept. of Total Beauty Care put emphasis on scientific analysis of the infinite desire of man pursuing beauty through academic approach and ultimately enabling every person to live a better well-being life.
